I’ve gotta give a big shout out to Turbulence Training for helping me get close to my weight loss goals asap. It was the workout program that really worked for me and helped me to slim down.
My husband still does the Turbulence Training workouts when he has time, and thankfully (
)they’re keeping him in shape despite his super-busy job.
What Is Turbulence Training?
Turbulence Training is a workout program for
- People who want to lose weight and get in shape
- People who don’t want to spend all day at the gym
The workouts themselves are mainly strength training exercises with a bit of HIIT (high intensity interval training) which means that they’re intense and not looong.
Turbulence Training Members Forum
There’s also a members’ forum which I was a part of for my first three months – it’s not necessary to join, but I was very glad I did since at the beginning it’s tough to stay on a fitness plan. Other people were doing the program, and had gone through what I was going through – the members there were very helpful, supportive and motivating.
Having this kind of support is invaluable, in my opinion. A support network of people cheering you on and helping you out makes such a big difference! If you have any negative people in your life, like family and friends who laugh at your weight loss attempts, make fun of you, or discourage you - this members forum will make a big difference in your life and help you stay on track.
However, it’s not essential if you’ve got a lot of support in your life anyway and have good discipline.
About Craig Ballantyne
Craig Ballantyne, the creator of Turbulence Training, is a guy who knows what he’s talking about. As you can see from the picture of him, he certainly knows a thing or two about being in shape!
Craig’s written for many popular magazines such as Men’s Health, and Maximum Fitness and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He’s also gotten many high-paying private clients in shape quickly, and even the Biggest Loser’s Jillian Michaels raves about his abilities.
Does Turbulence Training Work?
I’m quite skeptical of most training programs. However, I got excellent results from Turbulence Training (just a week into the program, a friend’s husband asked me what gym I went to! It cracked me up, I was telling people I didn’t exercise but they didn’t believe me – these workouts really shape you up fast.)
Turbulence training flat out works.
If you’re busy, out of shape, and want something effective, this is a great option.
And I’m not the only one who’s had great results with the program, check these out:
Kerry stopped doing cardio and got six-pack abs at age 51.

Robyn lost more than 34 pounds in 12 week. She also lost 9.5 inches from her waist, 5.75 inches from her hips, and 5 inches from each thigh.

What I Don’t Like About Turbulence Training
I don’t recommend programs I don’t like. You’ll find that there are only two workouts on my blog I recommend. I’ve tried quite a lot of them but I didn’t get results – so why would I talk about something that doesn’t work on my blog? I’ve decided to be positive and only talk about those programs from which I got results
There’s very little I dislike about Turbulence Training, and I think anyone can do this – but there are some things you might not like.
The exercises are a bit tough to do if you’ve been really out of shape (like I was when I started) but they work which is the most important measure of success. Actually, the first few days are difficult but soon you get into the rhythm of things and have fun working out. If you’re looking for some kind of “sit on your couch and lose weight doing nothing” workout, this ain’t it – and I don’t think you’ll find what you’re looking for
The workout is intense, but it’s quick and doesn’t waste your time.
What I Liked About Turbulence Training
First of all, the workouts are all laid out for you and there are videos of the exercises, so you know exactly what to do. I like the fact that the workouts are efficient – seriously, who has time to waste these days? Also, I loved the members forum, but it’s not essential, especially if you’ve got a supportive network of friends and family.
Finally, how can I go past the fact that TT helped me get in shape, fast?!
Bottom Line
Bottom line – get Turbulence Training , it will work for you if you act on it. Of course, if you leave it lying around, you won’t just get fit magically! Let me know if you’ve got questions or comments, and I’ll do my best to answer.
